I purchased these to use as bait cages for my lobster Pro Mar hoop nets. Price and screw on top were the two drivers. I needed to modify the tops by adding screws to ensure the top didn't pop off. Sea Lions have a way of figuring how to open bait cages. Securing the tops and replacing the plastic clips with stainless clips as connections to the hoop nets these cages are working great. Less money than the Pro Mar Seal Proof bait cages, these are a good alternative choice.
