This book is an interesting read that offers simple explanations for common problems for athletes. For busy coaches, It offers short summaries in handy boxes that help the reader to refocus on the important ideas, but also includes plenty of examples that could help them introduce concepts to their players. The layout of the book is 5 sections that help the reader understand what causes loss of lucidity, how to get into the lucid state, how to develop it, etc. I felt the first two sections had a lot of overlap, and perhaps could have been condensed a bit, but the last three sections offer some useful and specific tips that would help not only athletes, but I think anybody working to develop their flow state.Lastly as an AP Psychology teacher with lots of athletes in my classes, I think it will be a useful tool to relate the course with their sport.
