I bought a pair of these gloves a couple of years ago and really liked them. When those gloves were stolen I decided to buy another pair. I ordered an X-large but they were a little bigger than I remember so I returned them and bought a large pair (I ate the cost of shipping though that was my fault) When I received the Large gloves, one glove fit perfectly but the other glove was smaller. Basically my thumb doesn't fit all the way in. It seems like the gloves are different sizes.I didn't have this issue with my old gloves or the XL gloves but there was another issue only with only these new Large gloves. Inside any glove there is rounded cushioned part that goes under your knuckles- the part you make a fist around. In the large gloves that padding piece doesn't stay put as it is supposed to, instead it has about an inch of slack, so rather than staying where it needs to, it slides around inside the glove to either your finger tips or near your palm. It is very uncomfortable.Manufacturing just seems inconsistent.I have been using these gloves for about 2 months now and they are holding up good. Only drawbacks is that they are labeled as leather and I do not think these are genuine leather. After calling Ringside they still insisted they were leather but I disagree. They smell, look, and feel like synthetic leather. They also don't vent much so they get moist. Overall, still a good entry glove. But if you want a better leather glove you will probably have to spend a bit more.I had high hopes for these, because when I got the Contender thai pads there were amazing quality for the price. But these gloves have too much space on the inside, even with hand wraps on. They just aren't snug the way you want em to be when you go from heavy bag to sparring to focus mits etc . and each glove a different, lop-sided feel within. Again, the material is great, maybe my pair was a defect but I think that you should go for a different glove if you want to pay 50-plus bucks. They were good gloves as far as we could tell...we received two left hand gloves so I was not able to put them to use. But the quality seemed very good!Nice heavy bag gloves make sure to get the correct size good for working out on the bagHorrible gloves! Very tight. Padding is already popping out. Took forever for it to stop tearing up my pinkies. They look huge at first glance, but after putting on handwraps and then putting them on they fit "like a glove." I am a tall guy with somewhat of a bigger than average hands so they do not seem too big for me.Good quality glove. I don't need to wrap my hands as I use this for fitness work out only on my 100# bag. Nice snug fit using true to size medium glove.
