Got this book cause I was struggling with my nutrition and kept getting ill during training. This book is clear and to the point and helped dispel the myth that what you use for one type of event (eg xcm mtb) is good for other events (eg marathons).One of the most useful bits of this book was the condition specific nutrition plan section. Coming from South Africs, I am used to heat and was doing an event in Europe in spring so this section greatly helped me plan for the cold and also helped refine my nutrition in the heat!One thing I keep coming back to though is the measurement conversion charts!!!If you want to ride or run stronger, get this book! It's so good at helping your nutrition, your friends may think you are doping.
