I bought this grill set as a gift for my father who is a fanatic for both KU and grilling. I had bought several other grilling gift sets of different variations that ended up being damaged upon arrival and were well below gift-giving standards. I had to return all of them, because they were of such a horrible quality. I finally decided to give in and buy him another Jayhawks item and got this. I didn't have very high hopes based on my previous experiences with buying grill sets from Amazon sellers. In the end, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I was afraid it would arrive damaged like all the others, but it arrived extremely well-packaged and free of any outside defects. The velcro strap inside of the case that holds the top of the spatula was starting to come loose from the black lining, but that was easily fixed with super glue. Definitely not as big of a deal as a completely broken handle or smashed case corners like I had encountered with those previous orders. I was pleasantly surprised that the Jayhawk emblem on the aluminum case was raised and not just some decal slapped onto it, giving it a much more expensive look. Also, the tools themselves are extremely sturdy and seem like that will last the test of time. They look just as shown in the product picture. I'm so happy that my search for a great gift is now over. I definitely recommend getting this set if you love both the team and grilling or if you need a gift idea of that KU lover in your life. You won't be disappointed. I just can't wait for my dad to open this!(I gave this set a 4 star rating solely because of that damaged velcro strap. An unripped strap would have definitely gotten this set a solid 5 star rating.)One of the emblems was loose upon arrival. The adhesive wasn't sticking as well as the others. A quick fix, but a little worrisome when set near heat on a grill. Hopefully it holds. Gave it to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he LOVES it! He shows it off to everyone, haha!This is the one gift you can give for grad, house warming, or wedding and the receiver will be thankful. this is the item people want to get them self but don't so gift it to a friend or family member and they will appreciate you.I would recommend this set for any current or future Penn State alumni, especially those who plan on tailgating before a game! The barbecue tools themselves are a good quality/heavy duty and the case is really eye catching. The only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars is the fact that the PSU logos that were on the tools were peeling off on two of the items when I received it. I actually had to superglue them back on before wrapping this as a gift to my father. Although it is not a huge deal, as the rest of the set was solidly constructed, it was disappointing as I did pay 'extra' to have the PSU and Nittany Lion logos FIRMLY attached, which unfortunately was not the case.I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend because he loves to BBQ and is a huge Oregon fan. I received what I paid for with this purchase. The tools themselves are in good condition and nice. The case is decent, but when I opened the tools to check them, one of the velcro straps to hold one of the tools in was completely unstitched. Then when I took one of the tools out, the Oregon emblem fell off. The emblems themselves are glued in a different direction than shown in the picture as well. I ended up showing the set to my boyfriend before hand and we discussed that for the price, we received what I paid for and decided to keep it. We decided to super glue the emblem back onto the handle of the tool. It is better than the BBQ set he currently owns, just disappointed in the quality.Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loved it and originally wanted to put it on display however some of the straps the hold the tools in were broke when we received it so we started using it. Works great to BBQ burgers on game day!Must have for all Bruin Fans!!! Has coordinating colors and is very well made. I only gave it 4 stars because utensils are HUGE!!! I prefer average size. I'm keeping it because my husband would kill me if I returned.Husband loved this gift.. really great quality..
