As a base layer it is expected to be 'snug' so the sizes are smaller than normal. My daughter would normally wear a size 10 but took the size 12 here to have some extra room. My younger daughter took the Junior L/XL and she is quite petite so if in doubt, go for the larger of your options. Otherwise very well made with well-finished and flat seams. Very warm and seems to wear well.
