This book looks at 7 of the more popular martial arts and outlines aerobic, anaerobic, flexibility, muscular strength, and muscular power training that will help you improve your art. It suggests baseline testing, necessary training equipment, and includes charts, and is well illustrated. I am a senior working hard to "stay in the game." I wish I had a book like this 40 years ago. Even if you are a devoted "gym rat" you will learn from this book.
