I bought these unwaxed laces to replace a drawstring in some sweatpants that had seen better days. I wear a 1x women's and this more than fit inside the waistband. I trimmed the plastic ends off and tied knots. Looks great and will be sturdy for the long haul!Not much to say- they are skate laces. Order the correct length and you'll be golden. They do the job. Can't really say whether they are better/worse than other options, but the price was fair.Very good quality and can take the abuse of playing hockey 3-4 times a weekWe love these laces ! They are long enough to wrap around my 8 year olds skates a few times keep his ankles tight & secure !This is the second time I have purchased this product as my son had to have one pair for each of his pairs of skates. He has definitely received compliments on these laces. In fact I took his skates to a popular pro store in a skating rink where our local professional hockey team plays and the guy who was checking in his skates to be sharpened asked me where I got the laces and that they were pretty cool and he had never seen anything like them before. Pretty awesome compliment.What's not to like about AR laces? Moved away from wax for my forward skates when I got a pair of skates with a locking D rink at the ankle bend. These laces hold just fine and have as good a life expectancy as one can hope for from a hockey lace.I have two boys that play hockey and it seems like I am always buying new skate laces. I purchased them each a pair (and an extra) for Christmas. Not only did the Hockey laces come in great colors but neither one of them needed to replace their laces for the rest of the season (Three months). There is no sign of wear or tear. I am pretty sure that we may even make it through the Spring Hockey Season with these same laces - almost unheard of. These are fabulous and I highly recommend them!Nice soft laces. There was a loose stitch which is starting to pull so they won't last, but hockey skate laces really don't last long anyway unless you get waxed. Turns out equal quality laces were much cheaper at Canadian Tire. Live and learn!No issues with these laces, they did the job and seem durable. Prefer the ones without wax as I use them for other things than just skates (hockey pads or tying camping gear together).These laces were not over waxed, meaning they were still soft enough to use like normal laces and not rigid like over waxed laces can be. The best part of these laces was the variety of colours. Shipping was very fast
