While this jump rope is made of great materials, has wonderful handles that my hands grasp very comfortably, and is the perfect weight, one of the handles came detached on the first day after use that barely even qualifies as "light." (Slowly demonstrating to my 5 year old proper jump rope technique.) It took ten minutes of messing around with a wooden skewer to get it to where the rope would stay in the handle again. Hopefully it will stay where it belongs now because I have intense plans for the jump rope and I. If the handles stay attached, then I will have nothing but love for it. I will update if it fails me again.7/20/2014 update:The handle has come detached several times since I first wrote this review. Time to replace.
