I just finished the book and it was absolutely breathtaking, some sections almost speak directly to me. I was never a fan of NASCAR for which Marty made his initial fame, but I was introduced to him through the Dan Le Batard radio show and subsequently his NCAA Football coverage. With books written by famous people about themselves, I am always very skeptical that the book will just end up being one big PR stunt to further themselves into the public conscious. Not so with this book. Marty is a very humble and intelligent good 'ol boy from the south who has the amazing ability to connect to anyone who touches regardless of race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, etc. This book is a must read for everyone, but I was say especially for men and fathers. He delves into uncomfortable topics like depression, loneliness, marital issues, grief, self doubt, and so much more; but his bright demeanor and inclusive can-do attitude is infectious! Man, woman, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, or just Joe Blow; reading this book will give you a different outlook on life and it's endless possibilities and if you are truly willing to absorb its message I believe you will come out the other side a slightly better person, I know have so far.Don't let me scare you away, this is in no way a preachy or self-help book, Its just the stories of a man that came from humble beginnings to working a dream job. There are stories inside that made me laugh out loud like a fool in a doctor's waiting room and others that had me bawling like I haven't done since my Mama died.If you take nothing else from this review, then please believe this because it isn't bull****: Marty's words instilled in a desire to be a better husband, a better father, a better son, a better neighbor, and the unshakable belief that if I set my mind to a goal and work my damndest to achieve it, nothing can stop my.You'll never read this Mr. Smith, but thank you from the bottom of my heart . Even if it's just one person, you changed a life and therefor the world. I truly believe the words that poured from your brain to that book were the work of a higher power and you will and your family will be blessed tenfold.PS: Stugotz Army Strong
