I have fallen twice at 50+ mph on my Electric Unicycle and these gloves have saved my palms both times. This is why these gloves get 4 stars ? from me. However, because I was propelled forward and landed with both hands extended (Superman) my wrist was not harmed. My concern with these gloves is if they really could save my wrist on a slower fall where I get slapped down to the ground. I find it hard to believe because the wrist support wraps are poorly stitched. In fact, they have broken off on my last two pairs I have returned one set and took a small financial hit only receive another pair with the same issue. There seems to be a lack of quality control therefore I took a star off my rating. I would have taken 1 ½ stars off but I could so I rounded up since they did save my palms twice.
