I've been a sports fan for a long time and I love to watch sports on TV. As I watch certain sports, such as football, there were some sports terms I did not understand at first. I saw this reference source titled WEBSTER'S SPORTS DICTIONARY on the shelf at a local library. Due to it being a reference source, I was unable to check it out of the library. So, I searched for it online and saw a new copy being offered for a reasonable price. I was very happy to purchase the book. This item has all the terms for over a hundred sports and I find it to be a very useful source when watching sports. I wish that MERRIAM WEBSTER would update its dictionary to a more current edition. If they were to publish an up-to-date edition of the SPORTS DICTIONARY, I would buy it in a heartbeat! This is a superb source for any sports fan!
