The fit is perfect! It's comfortable, it will fit inside of a motocross boot. I started using this towards the end of my recovery from a broken ankle and leg, it's a happy medium between a full on medical issued boot, and a plain shoe. I have more confidence that my ankle is safer when I have this on. The entire design is as good as it could possibly be considering its strapping plastic panels to your ankle and you can barley feel it after a few minutes of wearing it. Would recommend for any athlete recovering or even just trying to avoid an injury all together
